Other beaches in Goa are Caranzalem beach, Marvel beach, Dona Paula beach, Bambolim beach and Siridao beach, all in close proximity to Mormugao harbour. The Mormugao subdivision has a string of excellent beaches, like Bogmalo beach, Issorcim beach, Colva beach (a rich spawning ground for fish and crustaceans).
